In this book, Salam Al-Shamaa writes bright pages from the life of "Ali Al-Wardi", the well-known sociologist in Iraq, the Arab world and the world. Some called him "Antarah of the University of Baghdad" because of what he carried in his personality and works of renewal and innovation, and what distinguished him from other social scientists in terms of a solid academic build that contributed to exposing the diseases of society and moving towards reform through research, words and action. Thus, after the author of the book published three books about this great scholar and prominent Iraqi symbol, they are, respectively: “From the Inspiration of the Eighty”, “Ali Al-Wardi .. His Councils and Intellectual Battles”, and “The Projected Duality”, comes his fourth book, “Specials from Ali’s Life Al-Wardi”, and he began in the introduction that precedes the work by addressing the reader, saying: “This is a new book that is not similar to the books I wrote before about the great Iraqi sociologist Ali Al-Wardi. Which I walked in my previous books, as I intended, here, to write a collection of scattered articles in the biography of Al-Wardi, when you finish reading it, Al-Wardi, his achievements and the books he wrote will be embodied in front of you, through lines through which I recall my living with this man who gave and did not take... And the author continues: I do not claim that this book will be surrounded by the pink biography in all its aspects, but I will try, to the best of my ability, to open pages that are still kept secret in the life of this great scholar and prominent Iraqi symbol (...) There is a lot that remains hidden in the life of this The social reformer and the great man of enlightenment who wanted our society to occupy a decent position among the societies of the world, so he remained throughout his life battling the diseases of Iraqi society... Thus, he is one of the few who lived for others and not for themselves, and he is one of those to whom Sayyid Qutb's saying really applies: "We We live for ourselves a double life, when we live for others, inasmuch as we double our sense of others, our sense of our own life, and in the end we multiply this very life. Therefore, it is incumbent on us to remember the rose that we have forgotten, and who has done so much for us and what we have given. The book includes more than twenty titles on Al-Wardi's biography, in addition to twenty-eight years old interviews conducted with him, and an appendix of photos and documents.
