Anne in the Green Estate series

Written for all ages, this novel chronicles the adventures of Anne Shirley, a bright eleven-year-old girl, who is mistakenly sent to two middle-aged brothers, Matthew and Marilla Cusbert, who originally intended to adopt a boy to help them with their farm work in the town of The fictional Avonley, located in Prince Edward Island, Canada, tells the story of how Anne makes her way through life with the Cusberts, at school, and within the town.
