A theater group prepares and performs a theatrical show that revolves around the facts of the lives of the band members themselves. Their scandals are transferred to the stage and they see themselves from the point of view of “Abbas”, the author of the play, who exposes their moral degeneration that caused the death of his wife, Tahia. The novel is told from four points of view: “Tariq” the representative of the band, “Karam” the prompter of the actors, “Halima” the ticket seller, where each of them defends himself and frees her from every defect, so the story is completed from different points of view in an interesting framework and an amazing artistic texture. The novel was published in 1981, and was transferred to the small screen in 2016 in a series with the same title.
