We have in our hands the second edition of the book “Promises of the Qur’an to Empower Islam”, by Dr. Salah Al-Khalidi, which was published in 2009 AD, in cooperation between the Damascene “Dar Al-Qalam” and the Beirut “Al-Dar Al-Shamiya”.
The book came in 274 pages, and it is the eleventh book in the "Treasures of the Qur'an" series, which was published at that time by the two publishing houses.
Al-Khalidi presented in the book a reading of the noble Quranic verses that speak of the reality and future of Islam.
The author divided his book into three main sections, each with sub-chapters.
The first section, and it came in eight chapters, dealt with the Qur’anic promises in general, such as “God does not break the promise,” and “Who is more truthful than God in speech,” and manifestations of the realization of future news that were mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, based on the reality of what came in the chapters of the Holy Qur’an. , such as "Thunder", "Rum", and "Women".
The second section, and it came in ten chapters, dealt with the Qur’anic promises to empower Islam in ten of the Meccan surahs, whether at the time of the prophetic mission, or in the future.
The third section, which consisted of 12 chapters, dealt with the Qur’anic promises in this regard, in 12 civil chapters.
As for the conclusion, the author deals with the manifestations of this in the Sunnah of the Prophet, through hadiths in which the Holy Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, dealt with the reality and heralds of empowering this religion in the future.
